In Science your learning centres around answering a big question that society is currently finding a solution to.
Your Learning Journal is a chance to reflect on the knowledge you have gained in each unit and connect it to help you answer the big question, and ultimately become active and informed citizens.
You are required to connect one learning journal per unit. At the end of the semester you will use your entries to help write your final response to the big question.
Each entry should:
1. Be Reflective of your learning and mindset growth. Demonstrated by selecting 1-3 lessons and describing key learning intentions you learnt about in each. Then link how this new information helps you to consider where our waste goes. You are also encouraged to reflect on challenges you have faced in this unit and how you dealt with them.
2. Demonstrate critical thinking by posting additional questions that you want to explore further to better answer the big question.
